Splattered Ink is a fast growing, young, web development company. We need an office manager with skills, experience and savvy to be the back bone of day-to-day operations.
To thrive in this role, you'll need to love working with people, tons of variety, work independently, communicate well and be super organized! We are looking for a motivated individual with a proven track record in office administration. You may have experience from a different field than small business or technology. We are looking for a proven ability to work under pressure and prioritise. The right candidate will play an integral part in the future expansion of our company.

Key Daily Responsibilities Involve:

Oversees projects and operations, maintaining a schedule of tasks for each project, open communication with clients and following up on work results.

Screens and routes incoming calls and messages when necessary

Deal with any queries via phone, email and general correspondence
-
You will be the first and last impression of Splattered Ink to our clients and associates
-
Handling incoming orders, preparing quotes and proposals and writing up orders
-
Handles client complaints, grievances, questions and concerns
-
Invoice clients, manage accounts receivable and accounts payable
-
Monitors office usage of supplies and reorders as needed
-
Answer questions about the services Splattered Ink provides including limited technical assistance with email and our content management system
Ongoing Key Responsibilities:

Achieves financial objectives by preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.

Tracks spending and budgets

Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Maintains office services by organizing office operations and procedures; preparing payroll; controlling correspondence; designing filing systems; reviewing and approving supply requisitions; assigning and monitoring clerical functions.

Provides historical reference by defining procedures for retention, protection, retrieval, transfer, and disposal of records.

Designs and implements office policies by establishing standards and procedures; measuring results against standards; making necessary adjustments.

Keeps management informed by reviewing and analyzing special reports; summarizing information; identifying trends.

Assists in maintaining staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.

Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.

Creates any needed data in the form of letters, memorandums, proposals or reports
